Erica Synths Polivoks VCF V2 Overview
Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for an authentic emulation of the famous Russian Polivoks synthesizer will be impressed with the erica synths Black Polivoks VCF V2, a Eurorack compatible module that's based off of the original Formanta Radio Factory Polivoks (BP/LP) filter.
The module uses the original Russian ICs with a modified design, which makes it more compatible with contemporary modular synthesizers. The modifications include independent buffered inputs, an extended cutoff knob, silent filter mode switching (BP/LP), and an output stage to eliminate signal inversion. The result is a much punchier bass sound and very smooth controls. The module includes a ribbon power cable and mounting screws.
