This 6-stop, 46mm Haida Greystone Multi-Coated ND Filter features an ultra-thin aircraft-grade aluminum filter ring that is only 0.122" thick, which helps prevent vignetting on wider lenses or when stacking multiple filters. This filter evenly reduces exposure by 6-stops making it suitable for still, movie, and video applications. For still photos, the 6-stop reduction allows you to take pictures with a long exposure time, which can help create ethereal-looking landscapes that are both sharply in focus yet have a blurred effect on portions of the frame with moving subjects such as waves.
