Nady PEM-02 Overview
The Nady PEM-02 is a wireless in-ear monitoring system for two vocalists or musicians in clubs, concerts, or houses of worship. Comprised of a dual-channel tabletop transmitter with an AC adapter, two bodypack receivers, and two pairs of in-ear headphones, this two-person system is easy to use and offers a maximum range of 300'.
The PEM-02 offers 16 selectable UHF frequencies to choose from, allowing you to find two clean, interference-free transmission channels. Operating in the 903 to 928 MHz frequency range allows the system to avoid interference from TV channels and Wi-Fi devices for clearer transmission. A single removable antenna is supplied.
Infrared sync enables the transmitter and receivers to lock to the same frequencies quickly and easily. The transmitter's two 1/4" inputs accept unbalanced line-level signals, while an XLR input accepts balanced signals. A front-panel 1/4" TRS jack for stereo headphones allows you to monitor the signal from the transmitter.
Each of the two bodypack receivers features a 3.5mm dual-mono mini headphone jack and a 3.5mm line output for recording purposes. Two pairs of EB-6 earbuds with behind-the-ear cabling are provided for monitoring, but you can substitute them with your own favorite earbuds if you prefer. The receivers run for up to 11 hours on two AA batteries and feature channel displays along with LEDs to indicate battery status and radio signal strength.
