Designed primarily for enthusiasts, this QD-OLED panel features a 3840 x 2160 resolution (166 PPI) at up to 240 Hz to deliver smooth visuals with rich vivid details.

With a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms (GtG) response time, this monitor provides fluid and responsive feedback as well as reduced ghosting and smearing. The Quantum Dot OLED panel delivers stunning images with a 1 million:1 static contrast ratio and 250-nit brightness by individually illuminating each pixel. High-dynamic range and 1 billion colors brings photos, videos, and games to life with vibrant color, bright highlights, and deep shadows. The 178? horizontal and vertical viewing angles, in combination with the anti-glare panel, ensure a comfortable viewing experience from multiple viewpoints. Tilt the screen from -2 to 25 degrees for the most optimal ergonomic viewing position.

AMD FreeSync Premium Pro
Reduce screen tearing with AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro Technology. This enables the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.
Safeguard+ Dynamic Cooling System
The monitor has a built-in Pulsating Heat Pipe what releases a coolant that can diffuse heat five times faster than graphite sheet, reducing core temperatures and preventing burn-ins. The Thermal Modulation System automatically controls brightness and prevent overheating. To further prevent burn-ins, the Logo & Taskbar Detection automatically reduces the brightness on static images. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the monitor switches to screen saver mode and dims itself.
Connectivity
The Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF offers versatile connectivity with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow you to charge mobile devices and connect peripherals to your computer through the monitor. Connect headphones using the TRS audio jack to enjoy private listening.
