The not-so-ordinary ball head has a normal mounting platform with a 1/4"-20 thread, but the platform converts into a universal phone clip that expands from 2.6" to 3.7", so it can accommodate different smartphone sizes. A built-in cold shoe at the top of the phone clip is used to supplement a microphone or an LED light for your phone.
Of course, the single-action ball head with a load capacity of 4.4 lb has the usual features of 360Ā° rotation and 90Ā° tilt, and when no longer in use, the 14.1 oz mini tripod folds to a compact 12.2".
